CAN I HAVE THE TREATMENT WHILE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
We are unable to provide cosmetic tattooing to expectant moms due to the risk associated. For mamas who are currently breastfeeding, we can only perform this treatment if you’re able to pump and dump for at least 48hrs after the treatment.
DOES IT HURT?
This is the most common question when it comes to cosmetic tattooing but reassure topical anesthetic is used pre and during procedure to numb and ease any discomfort you may have. Pain threshold differs amongst each individual and more so when you have your lady friend. Most clients would say the feeling is like when getting your brows threaded and less painful than a brazilian wax! Some clients even have a nap during the procedure.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
From consultation to tattooing, the process can take from 2-3 hours, depending on the treatment you’re getting done. At your appointment we will go through shape, design, colour selection and the importance of aftercare. The tattooing itself will only take about an hour.
WILL YOU BE SHAVING ALL MY BROW HAIR OFF?
No, we will not be shaving all your brow hair off; however, once you are happy with your drawn brow shape design then we will tidy the brow area and remove unwanted hair that is not in the design unless you request us not to.
HOW IS SHAPE DETERMINED AND COLOURS SELECTED?
At your appointment, we will go through the shape design and colour selection with you. Please feel free to bring along some pictures of what you desire so we can get a feel of what you like.
Brow shape and colours will be discussed at your appointment, brow shape will be drawn onto your face for viewing, this is done based on your natural brow line and facial features while measuring for symmetry.
Colour is selected based on your natural brow hair colour, your skin undertone and your desired healed colour. Unfortunately, if you have very dark brow hair colour, it is only natural that the lightest you can go is 1-2 shades lighter, anything lighter will not look natural and will not blend with your natural brows.
Lip colours are chosen based on how dark your lips are, skin undertones and desired healed results.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
This will all depend on each individual but normally 1 to 2 sessions. A touch-up is needed so that if it doesn’t heal perfectly in the first place then we can always do minor adjustments at the touch-up.
Some people may not heal perfect the first time and it is only natural that your body tries to reject the pigment when first implanted into your body. Oilier skin clients may not retain pigment as well as normal or dry skin type. For some clients may need more than 2 sessions to achieve the desired results.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE TREATMENT?
There is really no downtime after the procedure; on the first day you may experience a little stinging sensation. Some more sensitive skin clients may experience a bit of swelling and redness, this should subside after a day.
During the healing period (brow tattooing 7-14days, lip blush 5-7days), your skin will go through stages of darkness and lightness; this is normal as the pigment settles into your skin. You may experience a little bit of flaking of dry skin and itchiness, please DO NOT scratch or pick at it. You will need to continue your aftercare as diligently as instructed (this will be discussed at the appointment and instructions provided to you to take home).

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Please ensure that you DO NOT put any makeup or product on the treated area as this is an open wound and will need to be treated like one. Makeup on the area may cause an infection to the area so please keep the area clean and if you must wear makeup then just around the area but not touching it.
HOW LONG WILL MY COSMETIC TATTOOING LAST?
How long your cosmetic tattooing will last depends on the treatment and on each individual.
Brow tattooing generally lasts from 6 months to 2 years and lips from 1-3 years. It is recommended to have a Colour Boost between 1 to 1.5 years to keep it looking fresh.
Ensure you always apply SPF rated creams on your healed treated area to prevent it from fading over time.

CAN I HAVE BOTOX OR FILLERS BEFORE MY BROW OR LIP TREATMENT?
Yes, but please ensure it is done 4-6 weeks prior to your appointment or 4-6 weeks after your treatment.
WHAT IF I HAVE EXISTING BROW TATTOO?
If you have an existing brow tattoo, please message us some CLEAR photos of them from front view and side views. Please indicate what colour they are and what you wish to do to them. We will need to review them first as unfortunately we cannot correct some tattoos that are too saturated and they may need removal first.
WILL I BE ABLE TO RETURN BACK TO WORK THE NEXT DAY?
Yes, there is really no need to take time off as it’s just a minimal treatment. However, if you don’t really wear makeup then they may appear a bit more obvious.
LASH EXTENSIONS
DOES IT HURT?
No, when done properly you shouldn’t be able to feel the lash extension. Each lash is isolated individually to ensure that your natural lashes are not stuck together to allow for natural growth.
DOES IT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
No, lash extensions shouldn’t damage your natural lashes; we carefully apply lash extensions based on how strong your natural lashes are to prevent any damage to them.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Lash extensions generally last about 4-6 weeks with refills required in order to look full and fluffy. Refill is recommended every 2-3 weeks.
How long it lasts will depend on the individual as we all go through different lash shed cycles, your extensions will fall when your natural lash shed. Avoid using oily products near the eye as oily products will de-bond the glue.

CAN I GET THEM WET?
Yes, of course you can but remember not to get them wet within 24 hours of getting them done to allow the glue to fully cure. It is recommended that you wash and clean your lashes every day to prevent dirt and bacteria building up which can lead to an infection.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY A FULL SET?
This will all depend on how many natural lashes you have and the lash style you want. Generally, volume lashes will take longer than classic sets due to the number of lashes applied. Average time is Classic (1 ½ – 2 hours) and Volume Lashes (1 ½ – 2 hours).
CAN I STILL WEAR MASCARA?
Please DO NOT use mascara on lashes as this will close up the lash and will make your lashes look clumpy. It is not recommended to use mascara on your new lash extensions as the oil in these products will break down the glue and your extensions will fall out faster than usual.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY LASH APPOINTMENT?
Please avoid wearing mascara or eyeliner 24 hours before your appointment, dirty lashes will mean the glue will not adhere to your natural lashes therefore retention will not last. Come to your appointment makeup free. The more cleaning we need to do will mean it will be eating into your lashing time.
I ALREADY HAVE LASH EXTENSIONS; CAN I BOOK A REFILL WITH YOU?
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to refill from other salons due to different material used therefore will not produce the quality of work that we strive for. We will need to remove the existing extensions and apply a new set
